Wow! What an incredible week! Sunday – Wednesday I attended my FIRST Showit United Conference! I learned so much about photography and I could go on and on about all the content, websites, business, and techniques I learned… But the BEST part of the whole thing was I made SO many new friends and built relationships with some really amazing creative people!! All who share my same passion! And that’s the biggest reason I booked my ticket for United 2020 immediately! Yes, they had keynote speakers from industry leaders, website coaching, breakout sessions focusing on all aspects of photography but they also had an 80’s party, karaoke tournament, formal gala, and free #unitedhugs! Everyone’s name tag had three names of people you needed to find and give them a hug!

My second favorite thing had to be the styled shoots! Specifically this citrus inspired wedding styled shoot! Bright and bold pops of juicy color is right up my alley 🙂 Not only did Tina Kraemer host and put together this gorgeous shoot, she TAUGHT us! Tina did not hold back in sharing her wealth of information on whatever we asked. She held and fluffed the wedding dress and veil, talked about posting tips, she explained how she sets up bridal details and photographs them, and she even gifted us a cute little set of flat lay styling tools! AND she is just so sweet!
